My friend Danny and I decided to build a keezer (freezer kegerator). It can hold 6 corny kegs. We plan to have four taps on the front.
We decided to build a collar on the freezer so that we could drill through that instead of the freezer.
The collar is attached to the lid so that when the lid is opened the taps will be out of the way.
The collar is attached to the lid with silicone caulking and metal brackets. The temperature will be controlled by
a Ranco temp control unit. Basically it turns the freezer on or off depending on the temperature set.
We put a quick disconnect on the C02 line so that the tank could be detached and the system wouldn't loose pressure.
There's still a few things to be done on the keezer. We reattached the rubber gasket to the lid but in some spots there
are some spaces we need to fix. We also need to wire the temp controller. And most importantly we need to order 3 more
Perlick taps. Here is a picture of what it looks like so far:

Update:
All 4 taps are installed. Only two of the taps have lines connected but as soon as we need to dispense from more than two taps we will hook
them up. The temperature controller has been installed. It works like a charm! So far we've ran a total of 4 kegs though the system, no problems.
Added a stainless drip tray(made for us by Hasen Lamonte - $100). We still have to install a dual regulator.
