Meeting Info
Hello,
Happy New Years! Just a reminder that for this month we will be meeting on January 11th (the second Tuesday of the month) The meeting will take place at Grape and Grain 726 Osborne st. @ 7:30pm. Bring your chocolate beers!
Feburary's meeting will be back to the first Tuesday of the month as usual.

Venue Change
Hey all,
Infortunately the Brewery Tour is postponed. We'll have to try to reschedule it for sometime next year.
We will have our meeting at Half Pints (550 Roseberry) instead. The meeting will take place at 7:30pm on April 6th, 2010. The topic is TBA.

Updates
Hey all,
First off all The Winnipeg Brew Bombers are now on Facebook! Search "winnipeg brew bombers". I'll post updates, pictures etc. there as well. There is also a discussion section on there as well. Feel free to post what you like. I invision questions about brewing related things or perhaps post things you would like to sell/buy.
I've also added an article section on the website. There are articles written by club members posted here. (Mike LeBlanc's Hops presentation and some articles written by Sean Richens) All good reads.
I have added a member submitted recipe heading in the club recipes section. If you have a good cooking recipe or a fantastic beer recipe you'd like to share with everyone send it to me and I'll post it.

February Meeting
Hey all,
Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010 at Half Pints (550 Roseberry st.). It will
take place at 7:30pm. The topic of the evening will be hop growing. We will also see if there is
enough interest to do a group buy of hop rhizomes for this coming spring.
Bring food as per usual.

January Meeting
For our Tuesday (Jan 12th) meeting we've got a special feature. We'll be meeting at Luxelune (734 Osborne St, next door to the Grape & Grain) for a beer tasting evening. We're going to have two sets of flights (4 oz glasses) of a variety of beers available to sample. We'll be able to try some of the close to a 100 different beers available. After the flights you are welcome to procure other beers and split them with other members. There will also be pizza at a special deal.
This event will cost $30. You will get approximately 10 samples and pizza for this price.
I encourage you to attend this special meeting to enjoy some beers that you probably haven't tried and gain some additional knowledge of different styles.
The meeting will take place at the usual time (7:30pm)
Also as you've probably noticed already I've changed the site again. Let me know what you guys think, good or bad.

2009/2010 Brewing Season
On Monday, August 17th, the Brew Bomber executive met and a tentative schedule was drawn up. The first meeting of the year will be held on September 15th, 2009 at Half Pints. It will take place at the usual time (7:30pm). After this one, the rest of the meetings will fall on the first Tuesday of every month.
Here's a sneak peak of what we have in mind for the up coming year:
- Dry Hop Experiment
- Tour of the Experimental Brewery
- Beer and Food
The Club Brew for this year was also decided. Come to the meeting to find out what the club brew is and what other beer related events we have in store!
I've updated the club brew recipe page as well as the calendar of events. Check them out!

New Website and Forum
I'm currently working on the new website. I will be posting pictures from the equipment show and tell soon. Also I will be posting pictures from my freezer conversion build. A forum will be added shortly as well.

May Meeting
The topic for the meeting was selected. It will be an equipment show and tell. All members are encouraged to bring their brewing equipment to show it off. This meeting will probably take place at Grape and Grain.
I will hopefully remember to bring my camera and take some pictures for the website.
